Frank Vescera Wins Democratic Line for District 1, Smajic Completely Shut Down!

The state appellate court in Rochester today overturned a decision made by Judge Hestor and awarded the Democratic Line to Mr. Frank Vescera with a unanimous decision by the appellate court.  As reported earlier, we were outraged by Judge Hestor's decision and his common sense ruling that disallowed the law and “Hestor the Mind reader” ‘knew” who those citizens  were voting for and allowed the inappropriate ballots.  Slam dunk Hestor- corruption can be overturned.

We were able to contact a relieved and excited Mr. Vescera who promised he would give us an official statement tomorrow and was happy that the law was followed in the correct form.  We here at WUS! have been following this closely, and have attempted to contact Mr. Smajic several times at his 712 Elizabeth Street address, but he never seems to be there and no one that lives there even knows who he is.  Curious....

We believe that the law is the law, and ignorance nor lack of understanding the language is an excuse for a decision like Hestor made.  Plain and simple: if naturalized citizens want to participate in our great country’s political system, then perhaps the courtesy of learning the official language written and spoken here might be helpful.  Many of our ancestors that immigrated into this country had to do the same so that can not be used as an excuse.  Neither can ballots filled out the wrong way, speaking a foreign language by a candidate in the primary to voters at the election table (electioneering) and a host of so many other unfortunate incidents that shrouded this primary.  Bottom line: the LAW is the LAW!
